Ever Think About Retiring in Costa Rica…

I came to Costa Rica in the Winter of 2007, right after I retired, to visit my son, Tom. The slow pace, the cool mountain air, and the friendly people kept me here much longer than I anticipated. After I returned home, I could not wait to get back. Today, I spend most of the year in Costa Rica. We rented a house in the mountains, overlooking the cities of the Central Valley. Mary, my wife, and I take Spanish lessons, go to church and shop in our little village. I quickly called it home. However, I feel no further away from my home in Florida than if I lived in a northern US city. A two and half-hour plane flight brings me into Orlando, Florida.
